Parkland Villas Ellenbrook. Parkland Villas, developed by Fini Villages, is a 160-unit retirement village with centralized community facilities. As the project architect for the village, we inserted many new urban design principles into the design. Indeed, the village is the product of an evolving design process in partnership with Fini Villages.

The village includes a variety of homes, both double and single storey, as well as apartments. Each house includes a verandah that addresses the street, promoting community interaction. In a similar way to a village, the centralized facilities have also be designed to develop community interaction by being the social focal point for the community. Furthermore, to create a sense of diversity and individuality, each house has been designed to appear detached and individual, with a variety of facades and colour schemes available.
