Lakeside Aged Care. We provided a full architectural service for Aegis Care’s Lakeside Aged Care Facility, an 80-bed high care facility on a small suburban site. Most of the building is double storey, with staff parking and utilities such as the kitchen and laundry on the lower level, and direct street access to the upper residential level. The building is designed around four individual courtyard communities, each with its own dining room and lounge area. A community hub for all residents is located centrally and incorporates the main nurse station, a café, a hairdressing salon, a cinema and lounge facilities.
