Provence. Provence Village Centre is the core of a new community that’s being developed in a rural setting outside Busselton. To enhance the character of the estate and add credibility to the Provence brand, we were commissioned to provide a masterplan and built form vision for the new village centre.

We evolved the village precinct masterplan to concentrate all the village amenities in and around the village centre, promoting walkability with the adjoining village housing. This will help to create a sense of vibrancy and energy within the small village centre, while also benefiting local retailers. In addition, we balanced the scale of public spaces and roads with the built form to create a sense of intimacy within the village centre.

Our built form vision captures the essence of the local environment and broader South West region in a contemporary way, giving the village centre an authentic feel without borrowing too heavily form the past.
